If you want the full experience go with when I was on Yaz and that shit was $50 bucks a month. Or the ring when it was something like $70. Then tack on when I needed to go to the OB/GYN to get the thing in the first place or to be refilled, to pay the co-pay (which cost more because it wasn’t a ‘check up’ but a ‘specialty doctor’) just to say, “I’d like some more medicine, plz”. Then you can post judgy, paternalistic messages about ITS SO EASY, LADIEZ. Y SO STOOPID??? I remember spending 80 a month on pills, breaking out in acne, bleeding all the damn time, then getting knocked up anyway! It’s too bad this guy wasn’t around to manspain to me about using condoms. Oh and I couldn’t afford an abortion. I ended living in a car and having a premature baby. So I not only have to deal with the failed pills but my baby has to deal with it too. WONDERFUL. (she’s cool though)

A friend of mine’s twelve year old daughter

was out trick or treating with her friends in a costume she made herself. What should have been a perfectly lovely night for any young girl was ruined.. or nearly ruined, by a bitter old woman who felt the need to call these young children - SLUTS and refused to give them any candy because in her mind they were sluts.

They are children! Children! And that’s an awfully big word to attach to a child.

I’ve been angry since yesterday. Angry and sick.

The girls are fine. They seem unfazed by it and for that I am grateful. But I can’t believe that anyone would have the gall to say something like that to a little girl. People make me sick.

When tea party candidate Ken Buck was the DA for Weld County in Colorado he refused to prosecute a rape case explaining that “a jury could very well conclude that this is a case of buyer’s remorse.”
